Moly coatings typically deliver superior thermal conductivity with fair corrosion resistance, especially in high chlorine environments. Likewise, stainless steel coatings offer good corrosion resistance, but fall short of the thermal conductivity and wear resistance of moly.

Compared to moly and stainless steel coatings, INFINIKOTE™ delivers higher hardnes levels for better wear resistance. As for thermal conductivity, moly requires an undercoating when dryers show porosity or low edges. This is not required with INFINIKOTE™, thereby eliminating heat transfer loss and the downtime associated with an undercoating application.
