Given that much of our work comes from industries manufacturing and processing 'sheet materials', we have developed a comprehensive specialist service for the overhaul and repair of 'Rolls' and 'Cylinders'. Rolls with complicated internal functions requiring maintenance or repair are routinely processed in our dedicated Refurbishment area.
This service extends to many varied components and sub-assemblies, and is backed by our general machine-shop for component repair or remanufacture.
Rolls which come in from both overseas and the UK are off loaded looking very much worse for wear as they arrive. After they have been dismantled, cleaned up and refurbished by new parts or metal spraying, they are painted where applicable and reassemble by highly skilled personnel. Whether a new coating is required or just a regrind, Bender are able to erinstate and prolong the service life of rolls with considerable economic advantages.
